SunSoft Try and Buy Program

The successful SunSoft Try and Buy program is now available on the Internet. The program allows prospective customers to immediately download and evaluate any of SunSoft's award- winning development tools and technologies on the SPARC(R) and x86 platforms for 30 days, free of charge. Customers are electronically issued a 30-day demo license enabling them to imme- diately begin using a fully functional version of the downloaded software.

A wide variety of development tools, code management tools and compilers are available for the Solaris 1.x and Solaris 2.x environments for SPARC, and the Solaris 2.x environment for x86:

The Try and Buy program on the Internet allows customers to download and evaluate develop- ment tools anytime, anyplace -- they no longer need to call and wait several days for a Try and Buy CD to appear. Instead, a customer with a SPARCstation 20 and a T1 line connection can download the SunSoft Visual WorkShop for C++ in about 22 minutes.
